Who we are.
Founded 2018 · Sydney
The Coalition for Conservation was founded on a simple proposition: that protecting Australia's natural environment and growing a strong economy are not competing goals, but complementary responsibilities.
Conservation and conservative values have always gone hand in hand: stewardship, responsibility, pragmatic problem-solving, and a belief that we should leave the country better than we found it. C4C exists to bring those values back to the centre of environmental policy.
Over the years, we have connected policymakers, industry leaders, scientists, farmers and community voices to help inform practical, technology-neutral and evidence-based solutions. Our policy and advocacy work has spanned energy, agriculture and biodiversity, all grounded in the belief that good policy should protect Australia's unique natural heritage while allowing families, businesses and communities to prosper.
